Orange Bay on the Giftun Island attracts many people — no wonder with these shallow, turquoise lagoons, the fine sand and the famous swings in the water. Right on the beach you find loungers, a few shady spots and small snack bars as well as a simple restaurant. You can only get there by boat — docking is on the western side of Giftun. Often boat tours call at several snorkeling spots before they stop at this beach.

Mahmya (Giftun)

Mahmya on Giftun functions as a day‑trip destination: a quiet bay, crystal‑clear water, everything well organised. There is enough shade, showers and a restaurant, and in addition you can snorkel directly from the beach or by boat. The operators attach importance to keeping Mahmya environmentally friendly and orderly — especially because all of this lies within the protected area. Perfect if you want a relaxed beach day without having to do without the surrounding amenities.

Paradise Island (Giftun)

Paradise stands for the “classic” Giftun beach day: wide sand, gentle entries and time for bathing, often combined with two snorkeling stops on the reef. Tickets and day programs are offered regularly; like Orange Bay and Mahmya, the location belongs to the Giftun area off Hurghada.

Hula Hula (Giftun)

Hula Hula is another beach section on Giftun. Typical tours include hotel transfer, a snorkeling stop at a nearby reef, lunch on board or on the beach and about 1–2 hours of island time for swimming and relaxing. For smaller groups there are also speedboat options with more flexible timings.

Dolphin House

Many programs from Hurghada additionally head to the “Dolphin House” reef north of the city. There is a chance to see dolphins here; sightings are never guaranteed, and in the water you keep your distance and behave calmly.

Tawila Island

Tawila Island lies as a sand island about 22–24 kilometres off El Gouna and is only reachable by boat; depending on the program the crossing takes around 90 minutes. On site, long stretches of sand, shallow, clear water and lagoons shape the picture — conditions that kitesurfers particularly appreciate thanks to the steady wind and the large standing area. Many outings combine a snorkeling stop at the reef with island time and a simple lunch; departures typically take place from the Abydos Marina in El Gouna
