Tour Details

Day 1 – Luxor East Bank: Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple | Embarkation

Arrival in Luxor

Depending on your location, we organize your transfer to Luxor by domestic flight, train, or private vehicle – for example from Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Cairo, or a hotel on the Red Sea.

Upon arrival in Luxor, your Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan begins.

Together with your professional English-speaking Egyptologist guide, you will explore the impressive Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site of ancient Egypt, followed by a visit to the beautiful Luxor Temple, located in the heart of the city.

After the visits, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before boarding your 5-star Nile cruise ship.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2 – Luxor West Bank | Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple

After breakfast, we explore the famous West Bank of Luxor, home to the royal necropolis of ancient Thebes.

Valley of the Kings

The legendary burial site of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
Your entrance ticket includes the visit of three royal tombs (selected according to availability on the day).

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

A spectacular terraced temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful female pharaohs of ancient Egypt. The temple is beautifully set against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.

Colossi of Memnon

Two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, guarding the Theban necropolis for more than 3,000 years.

👉 Flexible program: If you prefer to visit the Valley of the Queens instead of the Valley of the Kings or skip a site, the program can be adjusted according to your wishes.

Return to the ship.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3 – Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

After a relaxing breakfast on board, the cruise continues along the Nile River to Edfu, one of the most important stops on any Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise itinerary.

Temple of Horus in Edfu

One of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dating back to the Ptolemaic period.
The temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god, and is considered one of the cultural highlights of a Nile cruise.

After the visit, the cruise continues towards Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo Temple

A fascinating double temple uniquely dedicated to two gods:
Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder.

The temple is famous for its well-preserved ancient medical reliefs and the nearby Crocodile Museum.

After the sightseeing, enjoy the peaceful sailing along the Nile, with time to relax on the sun deck.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4 – Aswan: Philae Temple, High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk

After breakfast, we explore the most important highlights of Aswan.

Philae Temple

A beautiful temple complex located on an island in the Nile and dedicated to the goddess Isis.
The temple is considered one of the most picturesque sites in Egypt and is accessible only by boat.

Aswan High Dam

A modern engineering project of great importance for Egypt, regulating the Nile and creating Lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

An impressive insight into ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques.
The massive obelisk still lies in the granite quarry of Aswan, where it was abandoned due to a crack.

👉 Relax option: In the afternoon you can enjoy free time, for example a sunset felucca ride on the Nile or a visit to a traditional Nubian village (optional).

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5 – Abu Simbel (Optional) | Disembarkation

After breakfast, disembarkation from your Nile cruise in Aswan.

Abu Simbel is considered one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in southern Egypt.
The monumental rock temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the most impressive monuments of ancient Egypt.

Due to the very early departure and long driving distance, the visit to Abu Simbel is offered as an optional excursion.

✔ Option A – Abu Simbel Tour

Early morning excursion to the world-famous Abu Simbel temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari.

✔ Option B – Relaxed Morning in Aswan

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Aswan without early departure – for example a felucca ride on the Nile, relaxation at the hotel, or a visit to a Nubian village (optional).

👉 The final decision can be made on site with your tour guide, according to your personal pace and interests.

After disembarkation, we can organize your private transfer to the airport, train station, hotel, or a Red Sea resort such as Hurghada or Marsa Alam.
