Tour Details

  • Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel. Enjoy driving on newly built roads through the desert in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. After about 2 hours driving time we will take a short break. Afterwards we continue our way and drive to Qena where we drive through the green Nile valley.
  • Arrived in Luxor, after a short refreshment break, we start immediately with our Luxor activities and visit the huge columned hall of the Karnak Temple. From there we drive with the book to Theben West, where we will have a delicious, local lunch.
  • Afterwards we will explore the fascinating Valley of the Kings. Here we will also be able to visit tombs from the inside. It is important to know that it is now allowed to take free photos inside the tombs without a flash.
  • After the Valley of the Kings we continue to Hatshepsut Temple, here you can take great pictures. As the final highlight of your Luxor day trip, you will visit the impressive and fascinating Colossi of Memnon.
  • Only with Luxreisen you can take part in a 1-hour trip on a motor boat on the Nile free of charge during the excursion
